I had a change of heart with the direction of the latest project. Basically, the idea of singing about love made me vomit a little. So, I’ve scrapped the album and I am reconfiguring it into a Rock ‘n’ Roll Space Opera about a 17 year old girl named Carolyn. She’s captured by aliens and turned into a cyborg. Subsequently, chaos ensues across the universe.
There will be a companion graphic novel.

It’s still strange to me that a winter wardrobe in Los Angeles is the same as a summer wardrobe – plus a light sweater. Album is coming along! Tracks are with Christy and my brother, and LA, as to be expected, is full up of talented people. There will be banjo and cello and all sorts of fun guest appearances. And there may be some busking at and around farmer’s markets soon…

I’m also working on a third album. It’s sloooow going right now. Wish me luck.

Who knows what I’ve been doing the past couple months, but it hasn’t been planning a tour of the East coast. That’s delayed until September to coincide with the seriously important wedding of Amanda Darling in Western Mass. And in the MEANTIME, we are playing Mr. T’s Bowl in Highland Park on Friday April 10th. We go on at 9pm.
