I had a change of heart with the direction of the latest project. Basically, the idea of singing about love made me vomit a little. So, I’ve scrapped the album and I am reconfiguring it into a Rock ‘n’ Roll Space Opera about a 17 year old girl named Carolyn. She’s captured by aliens and turned into a cyborg. Subsequently, chaos ensues across the universe.
There will be a companion graphic novel.

It’s still strange to me that a winter wardrobe in Los Angeles is the same as a summer wardrobe – plus a light sweater. Album is coming along! Tracks are with Christy and my brother, and LA, as to be expected, is full up of talented people. There will be banjo and cello and all sorts of fun guest appearances. And there may be some busking at and around farmer’s markets soon…

The Middle East Upstairs Sunday September 13th, 2009 in Boston, Massachusetts, Cake Shop Monday September 14th, 2009 in NY, NY, The Khyber Wednesday September 16th, 2009 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, The Velvet Lounge Thursday September 17th, 2009 in Washington, DC. I’m also working on a third album. It’s sloooow going right now. Wish me luck.
